I love Craigslist!
Hello all. I hope this finds everyone healthy & happy. I know it's Monday, but I sure hope it's been a good Monday.
My Dad has some potentially great news. To early to reveal... but I am both proud of him and happy for him. He sure does deserve it.
I finally got to sleep sometime after midnight last night. I didn't hear Tancy get up, till she was kissing me bye. I still got up, had a cup of coffee with her and saw her off to work. I was going to stay up, with lots of projects to start, but I was so tired, I went back to bed. I set the alarm for 8:30, but was asleep till 9:00 when Pops called.
I ran the trash to the dump, found gross bugs squirming in the cans... so home to spray them out and dump bleach in them. Yich! Well, actually, it was more like that sound you make just before you vomit!
Ugh! Anyway. Then it was off to Fort Mill, SC to get our new aquarium. I surprised myself with just how excited I was about it. It looks great, we even got a 20 gallon for free because the guy was just trying to unload this stuff and not have to store it. So, we will use the 20 gallon as part of our sump. I left directly from there and went to the aquarium guy in Cherryville. I went ahead and got our sand. We will spend the week moving everything from the 80 gallon to the 125. We have to do it all in order and in a certain time frame so as to keep the water circulating and aerated.
By the way, we will be selling our 80 gallon bow front... if anyone is interested. Hehe.
I had to make a quick stop at Wal-Mart and ten home. Tancy and I pulled up at the same time. We ate dinner and then unloaded it. The damn thing just about killed us! It's freakin' heavy. Go figure! We were very proud of ourselves for getting it out of the truck and up on the front porch, especially without breaking it! Haha. We did have to come inside and sit down after we got it set down.
We got it all cleaned up, inside and out. I started painting the back, the colors in the fish and rocks really pop against a background, plus you can't see all the cords, etc. I will have to put another coat of paint, or two, on it tomorrow. The humidity is so bad here right now my shirt is drenched in sweat! I know, sexy, right?!
Tancy got the pump working on our protein skimmer. It has been broken for a couple of months now. Shee was proud of herself for fixing it, I was too! That's one thing we wont have to buy now. We will still have to get more live rock, lighting, and I am sure this means more fish. We will probably start building our stand for the aquarium this week. We've already worked out the details on support (I love that she listens to me talk about things I really don't know anything about, and actually considers the ideas, even uses them sometimes). Now we just have to get the materials.
I think we are gonna get rid of the bearded dragon. I am just intimidated by him. I think I told everyone this already. Sorry.
No ovulation yet. Hopefully soon.
Tomorrow I really have to get to work on some of the stuff that needs attention in the house.
Mom's in Port Arthur, TX, she called and sounded good. Uncle Paul was somewhere near her and they are suppose to have dinner tonight. I'm glad that they are gonna have dinner tonight. It's good for them both.
Alright, I gotta get off of here. I am tired, I need a bath and just relax. I hope you all have a great night.
Love to all!
